Jennie Jones is seventeen in December 1943 and must travel across country to stay with her brother after tragedy strikes their family. All alone, and uncertain of her future, God intervenes in the form of a young Marine, whose faith and encouragement lift her out of her situation. Over the ensuing days, Jennie learns about the love and protecting hand of God, and learns to trust in Him as he changes her life, through new friends, prayer, faith and His unchanging Word.
